The Iowa Hill snowshoe tour winds through more than 145 years of mining history and up to a restored circa 1868 miners' boardinghouse. The trail is approximately one mile in length, and the difficulty is considered moderate. The tour lasts for approximately 75 minutes. Visit our Iowa Hill page for more information.
The trails of French Gulch pass through Breckenridge’s fabled “Golden Horseshoe,” one of Colorado’s most fertile mining regions. The initial strikes here in 1859 gave birth to Breckenridge. Please allow 2 1/2 to 3 hours to complete this tour. Visit our French Gulch pager for more information.

Please dress warmly. Tour takers should plan to wear ski clothing, warm boots (ideally waterproof), a hat and gloves or mittens. Bring water for every member of your group.
Reservations are required and can be made by calling 970-453-9767 ext. 7. You must provide 24hr notice to receive refund on cancellations.
$25 per person, $15 for children & students, $20 if you have your own snowshoes. Free admission to a Breckenridge museum is included in your tour purchase.
