Guided Historic Walking Tour
December 2008 Tour Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m.
Cost: $5/person, $3 for children 12 and under
Directions: Tours start and end in the Breckenridge Welcome Center at 203 South Main Street.
In 1880, Breckenridge was home to two dancehalls, ten hotels, and eighteen saloons. Take a guided walking tour through Breckenridge’s Nationally Recognized Historic District and see the buildings that housed these businesses, as well as the barbershop, restaurants, offices, bank and theatre. View the earliest homes in town, from log cabins to stately residences. Also included on the tour are the courthouse, school and churches.
Allow 90 minutes to complete the walking tour. Reservations are not required.
