In light of on-going public health concerns, BHA is evaluating if and how we can host our signature events. We will post updated information for each event on this page as it is confirmed. 

Memorial Day Commemoration:  May 30, 2022

Breckenridge Heritage Alliance will not be able to offer the type of program we have provided in the past. In 2022, we will coordinate with local students to place flag at veterans graves and offer free tour of the cemetery over Memorial Day weekend with a focus on veterans. Please check back in mid-April for more tour details.

Historically Speaking Library Series:  to be determined for 2022

Join the BHA, Summit County Libraries, and our guest speakers as they present topics of interest.

Historically Speaking in Milne Park:  to be determined for 2022

Join BHA guides for lunchtime talks in Milne Park (corner of Lincoln and Harris) to the park's history and how 19th century families lived in Summit County. Bring your own chair and a sack lunch if you'd like!​ There is not public parking at Milne Park and guests are not permitted to park along Harris Street. Please park at the Community Center at 103 South Harris Street.

Independence Day Parade Party:  July 4, 2022

With such a successful event in 2021 hosting local emergency and front-line workers, BHA has decided to continue this new tradition. The party will be an invite-only event when we can say "thank you" to our community.

Boreas Pass Railroad Day:  to be determined for 2022

In collaboration with our friends in Como, we invite you to enjoy the scenic drive over Boreas pass, the route of the C&S line, from the Como Depot to High Line Railroad Park.

Historic Homes Tour Fundraiser:  to be determined for 2022

Get an exclusive peek inside some of Breckenridge's privately-owned historic residences that have been preserved on the outside and modernized on the inside. This is a once-per-year offering when homeowners open their doors and allow our tour guests to step inside. Light refreshments included.

Historic Horrors and Halloween Events: to be determined for 2022

In a town as old as Breckenridge, there are bound to be a few spirits lingering from the mining heyday! Please check back in fall 2022 for more details.
