Memorial Day Commemoration:  May 31, 2021

This Memorial Day, the Breckenridge Heritage Alliance remembered that freedom isn't free as we honored all fallen veterans. Instead of our usual commemoration at the local cemetery, we produced this virtual program for 2021.

Join the BHA, Summit County Libraries, and our guest speakers as they present topics of interest.

Historically Speaking in Milne Park:  cancelled for 2021

Join BHA guides for lunchtime talks in Milne Park (corner of Lincoln and Harris) to the park's history and how 19th century families lived in Summit County. Bring your own chair and a sack lunch if you'd like!​ There is not public parking at Milne Park and guests are not permitted to park along Harris Street. Please park at the Community Center at 103 South Harris Street.

Independence Day Parade Party:  private event for 2021

The Town of Breckenridge is having a Fourth of July Parade in 2021 and BHA has reformatted our event. Instead of our usual fundraiser party, we are hosting local emergency and front-line workers and their families as a "thank you" for all their hard work over the past year.

Boreas Pass Railroad Day:  August 21, 2021

In collaboration with our friends in Como, we invite you to enjoy the scenic drive over Boreas pass, the route of the C&S line, from the Como Depot to High Line Railroad Park.

Historic Homes Tour Fundraiser:  TBD for 2021

Get an exclusive peek inside some of Breckenridge's privately-owned historic residences that have been preserved on the outside and modernized on the inside. This is a once-per-year offering when homeowners open their doors and allow our tour guests to step inside. Light refreshments included.

Historic Horrors and Halloween Events: cancelled for 2021

In a town as old as Breckenridge, there are bound to be a few spirits lingering from the mining heyday! Please check back in fall 2022 for more details.

Santa at the Barney Ford Museum:  TBD for 2021

Each year Santa visits the Barney Ford Home, decorated for a Victorian Christmas, to listen to children's Christmas wishes. We hope to welcome Santa back in 2021 in collaboration with the Breckenridge Tourism Office
