Join a local expert to explore the history of Breckenridge! From a rough and tumble mining camp, to a civilized Victorian town, to a hippie haven, and now an international resort destination, there's history on every corner. We offer guided walking tours, hikes, and snowshoe adventures as well as mine tours and Victorian teas. There's something for everyone - families, couples, explorers, and those just strolling through town while the rest of their group is on the slopes. All our tours, hikes, museums and sites are available as private events! The same per-person cost applies as well as a single non-refundable $40 surcharge.

WALK THROUGH HISTORY TOUR

SNOWSHOE THROUGH GOLD MINE HISTORY

This hike tells the story of hydraulic mining -- how gold was extracted from the surrounding hills using high-pressure water hoses.

TOMBSTONE TALES AT TWILIGHT TOUR

Tour historic Valley Brook Cemetery and view the ornate gravestones representing some of the town's earliest art and written history.

Pan for gold at Lomax Gulch, site of an 1860's mining operation that used high-pressure hoses and sluice boxes.
